Timeline and Filter Widgets for the same layer on Experience Builder

I would like to ask a question about Experience Builder on AGOL.

My project has a layer with time enabled referring to four unique times, which in this case are 4 unique years (2010, 2013, 2016 and 2020). In this project, a Timeline (Timeline Widget), was inserted for this layer. However, there is also a filter (Filter Widget), linked to this same layer. In this filter, the idea is to filter by year.

Unfortunately, there is a problem: As the same layer is being used in the Timeline Widget, the Widget filter only makes available the year that is active in the Timeline. Only when the Timeline is disabled using the "I" button is that the Filter Widget make available all the years present in the layer.

The data (years) available in the Widget filter are "stuck" to the year of the Timeline Widget. As you can see in the print below, just 2010 is available in the Filter Widget, as the Timeline is Activate and stuck in 2010.

I would like to know if there is any way to keep all years active in the Filter widget, without taking into account the year that is active in the Timeline.

Thanks,

Renata

@Renata

This is the expected behavior since these two widgets are using the same data source. If it doesn't change upon each other's change, then that would be a bug.

If you do not want them to affect each other, you may opt to use two different data views, but I am not sure if that will achieve the purpose of filtering (by attributes vs. by time) of the same data if that's what you want to do.

You can refer to more details about data usage in Experience Builder in https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/build-apps/select-data.htm
