Survey widget - Submit new record - Pass attributes from layer in group?

Hi there ExB community,

I want to pass attributes from the Parcels layer (bright green) in the map to the New Comms Record form (Survey widget).

You'll note, Parcels is grouped under the Editable layers in the map.

Is it not possible to add a connection if a layer is grouped, is this a bug or does ExB just need a rest for today and it might start working again tomorrow?
