I am using Experience Builder 1.14 Developer Edition and am running into some issues with the Search widget. We are using locators that search for addresses, points of interest, and parcels. I have configured the Records Created data action to Zoom to and Show on map.
One issue we are running into is that when a user searches for a Point of Interest, there are multiple pins placed on the map at any POI remotely matching the search term, despite checking the box that says "Auto select the first result" in the settings pane. Clicking the other options in the Search Result drop down does not zoom to a specific POI or change the pin locations either.
Another issue is that when using the Search widget, the dropped pin/point does not move unless a user completely clears out the search bar. For example, when users type and search for parcel number 0119171018, the pin is accurately placed and the map zooms to the right location. But if a user clicks in the search bar and only deletes '18' and replaces it with '24' to search parcel number 0119171024, the map will pan and center on that parcel, but the pin does not move.
Also, while users are typing parcel numbers the widget will say "no results found" but when the user hits enter, the map will find that parcel, despite there being "no results found." I've seen others in the ESRI community with this issue as well.
Hi @AngelaSuffia ,
To address the first issue, you can add a message action Record selection changes - Map - Zoom to.
On the second issue, we can confirm that this is a bug that will be fixed later.
Regarding the last one, here is a similar GeoNet post and we will make an enhancement soon.

Shengdi
Thank you for your response!
While the first solution does zoom to the searched location, the Record Selection Changes trigger does not offer a 'Show on Map' action and our users are accustomed to a single pin or point showing the search result.
I am glad to hear the other two issues have been added to the to-do list for Experience Builder enhancements. I look forward to seeing these changes.
