Hello everyone!
I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this - I have a search widget in Experience Builder.
When I try to type in the search in "portrait mode" on the iPad, it works fine. When I switch the iPad to "landscape mode" it blocks the keyboard from appearing on the iPad:
(sorry about the video flipping on it's side - I wasn't sure of a better way to screen record it on the iPad)
The function I'm using is the Widget Controller > Card > add a Search bar to the Card > then try to search some data on the map.
Here is the app: https://arcg.is/1H8LCb2
I don't encounter the issue on the smartphone view. It's only the tablet and only in landscape mode that I've ran into the problem. The list search works fine too - it's just trying to type text in the search.
Edit: It's actually struggling with landscape mode on the smartphone too - when I flip it, the formatting is moving around an the widgets are not working for the most part. Portrait mode works fine!
Have you tried making that search section smaller or reducing the # of halls that are shown at the same time so there is more screen space and see if the keyboard works then?
@LauraReducing the number of search items is not possible because it will remove the ability for users to search all of the buildings - so I don't think that is an option. It will prevent people from being able to search the entire set of data.
I will log in a ticket with tech support!
I don't mean erase them I just mean dropping this from 5 to 4 or 3. They would all still be there just need to scroll
