I need to build a simple application for users who are not AGOL savvy. We use polygons to represent "blocks" of specific fruit tree species. Often users require accurate acreages for specific blocks, strains, etc. for ordering chemicals, fertilizers, calculating royalties, etc. Acreage for each polygon is in the associated tabular data.  Is there a widget or tool I could create or utilize within Experience Builder or Instant Apps where a user could select various polygons and receive a calculate sum of the areas of those polygons?

I've created something similar within Dashboards. Users can select "blocks" by filtering through Area, Orchard, Commodity, Variety, Substrain, and Organic Status. But they need to option to select at their own will.

TL:DR Can I make a simplified tool, widget, etc. that performs the same function in Pro: selecting polygons with the lasso and running the visualize Statistics option for the acreage field in the attribute table.

Using the measuring tool widget is not an option. It take too much time and allows for too much user error.

Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you Jeffrey! That is exactly what I had in mind. Using that with the Selection widget will suffice. Do you have any issues with the selection tool not operating properly ones the app is published?

No. I can't say I've had any real issues.

Are you having problems with the Select Tool or the Select Widget? Clarification if you don't know the difference.

I do think the interface on the Select Widget is very awkward, but it does seem to function correctly.
