Make button widget change colors when selected

Hi!

I have looked and have yet to find any ESRI resources or other resources when it comes to the button widget and whether or not there is a way to make the button, when selected, change colors so that the user knows which button they have currently selected when there are multiple buttons to choose from.  Does anyone know of a way this can be done?  The only option I have is, upon hover,  to change the background color of the button, but that only remains as long as you have your mouse over the button. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hi @Bec is this when widgets are within a widget controller? The Advanced options on the widget controller should allow this option.

@Brian_McLeer  I do not have them in a widget controller.  I recall looking at that before, not for that particular reason, but didn't like the fact that it gave me sort of a pop-up window view and what I need is when the button is selected for it to change the map being viewed in the map section window currently. Plus using just the buttons here and not being in a widget controller allowed me to put the full name of the button for the end user to see without having to hover over it to know what the button was actually for in the end.   Each button, when selected, opens up a different map.  There were views created for each map in the section widget and that is what opens up based on the button selected.  Here is a link to the experience builder I am talking about:  Division of Mobility and Parking Services

Outside a Widget Controller, you can put a Button inside a Section and create a Button that changes it's own function and appearance.

@JeffreyThompson2  I do currently have my buttons in a Section.  I took a look at your post and will try it out and let you know how it goes.  Thanks for your input on this issue!
