Issues with "Custom feature" when manually arranging widgets for different device modes

Hi everyone! 

When I go to make custom widget edits such as change the font size on a widget so it fits better on a tablet device view or phone device view, the desktop widget is changing its font size as well. I thought by clicking "custom" in the device mode page you can make edits to widgets without affecting the other device mode views. Could someone help me out on this?

Widgets can sometimes be a spiderweb (at least in my experience).

If your widget edits are generally working the way you want, why not just make a second widget for "tablet friendly" use. You can use the "screen size switcher" in Experience Builder to customize the tablet/phone experience to use the second version of the app, while the desktop version uses the original version.
