Hi, somewhat of a new user to Experience Builder here so I don't have a full grasp of the terminology and functionality just yet. I'm in the process of migrating an app from WAB to Experience Builder and it's going ok so far but I've hit a road block where I'm unable to get a sidebar to expand automatically when a widget in the sidebar section is selected. I did some testing in ArcGIS Online and in that version, views navigation has an Actions tab where you can add a trigger to control the sidebar visibility when widgets are selected. I have to do this in portal however and the Enterprise version (v11.3) doesn't seem to have an Actions option. In other words, I can get this to work in AGO but not portal. I found something that talked about using the button widget to control the expand and collapse of a sidebar but I can't figure out how to configure it with the views navigation widget. Again, I'm somewhat new to Exp Builder so I may not be explaining this accurately/correctly, but hopefully I'm getting the point across at least. Thank you.
Hi joeryan,
Enterprise Portal version 11.4 introduced support for the "Open/Toggle Sidebar" message action. You can configure a message action to open or toggle the sidebar.
Hope this helps. Thanks!
Zhen
Thank you, we've just upgraded to 11.3 so I'm not sure when we'll get to 11.4, but good to know.
