I'm planning on developing an EB custom widget that will need to run some geoprocessing code. Looks like the geoprocessing widget is not available yet. Is there a way for me to do that? I know there's probably a way to create a webhook on an AGOL hosted feature layer that could trigger the Python, or maybe by calling a geoprocessing service, but it would be better if this can be done within EB.
When will the geoprocessing widget become available in EB?
It looks like it's on the roadmap, but doesn't have a date yet.
Maybe one of the Product Managers over EXB would have more info? (Calling @Jianxia and @PrincessGuzman )
They haven't put out the roadmap for 2022 yet, so maybe we'll get more information then.
In the meantime, is this something you could make a custom widget for in the developer edition of EXB? There's a geoprocessing section in the ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
Thanks @CourtneyMenikheim.
@MichaelWen_Timmons The Geoprocessing widget will not be available in the first half of 2022. Currently there is no timeline though it is on the roadmap.
Thanks for the answer! I'm sure that's one of the more complex widgets to implement.
