Any word on when the newest version of EXB Developer Edition (that corresponds to the latest ArcGIS Online version) will be released? I'm trying to import an Experience built in AGOL into 1.13 and when I deploy to the server the page always shows up with this annoying banner on top (see attached). I can't find any reference to version 1.14 on the web.
Or is there a way to get rid of said banner? Everything seems to function as expected.
1. Backup your config.json in your C:\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\server\public\apps\0\
2. Edit the config.json in your C:\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\server\public\apps\0\
look for any referenced widgets that have a version higher than your ExB Dev Edition (I am guessing you run V1.13 as of March 2024) .
Do this for any new version of ArGIS OOTB ExB widget
Save the config.json
Also overwrite the -other- config.json that is located here C:\ArcGISExperienceBuilder\server\public\apps\0\resources\config
re-run ArcGIS ExB Dev Edition and try loading your project (pray the good lord)
**This is a hack**. Revert back to original files if it doesn't work.
Another good thing to try is this:
0. Get the Portal Item ID of your Experience Builder app on AGOL
1. go to ArcGIS Online Assistant
2. Log in to your AGOL
3. CLick I want to.. View an item JSON
4. Search for your Portal Item ID
5. It will get listed on the left : click on the blue bar
6. On the right side, you will see 2 JSON (scroll down to "data")
7. Copy the second "data" JSON and save as.. config.json on your desktop
8. look into that config.json and try to identify any widget that has a higher version that your ExB Dev Edition
(example : you might see 1.15 or 1.14, whereas your ExB is only V1.13 -- that's what is causing your yellow warning )
some widgets simply do not exist yet in ExB Dev Edition, such as the brand-new advanced Select Widget https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/configure-widgets/select-widget.htm - so that will never work until a new ExB dev edition gets released and (hopefully) includes it too.
Summary : the above tricks are hacks . The easiest is to wait for the new ExB dev edtion to be released
