When using the print widget in Experience Builder, the "selectionObjectIds" field in the ExportWebMap Json is missing. This page of the documentation specifies that the selected object ids are retained https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/latest/publish-services/linux/exportwebmap-specification.htm , and we have reliably been able to retain the selection using web-app builder.

I think this fix will be included in Enterprise 11.3.
