ExpBuilder Survey123 400 Error

I used Survey123 Connect to create a survey from an existing enterprise feature class. I am able to submit new records to the layer through the Survey123 app. However, I am unable to submit new records through the Survey123 widget in Experience Builder. I receive the error, 400: Unable to complete operation.

Hi @ChristinaToth ,

To help locate the cause of the issue, would you mind trying the following and sharing the results with us?

  1. I assume that you can submit new records to your layer in the Survey123 field app. Can you submit the same survey successfully in the Survey123 web app or you see the same "400: Unable to complete operation" in the Survey123 web app?
  2. If you can submit the survey successfully in the Survey123 web app but encounter the error in Experience Builder app, can you please share some details for how you configured the Survey widget in Experience Builder?

Yes, I can submit new records to the layer in the field app. I just tested the web app and I receive the same 400 error. Should I submit this issue on the survey123 board?

Hi @ChristinaToth ,

Yes, it sounds the issue resides only in the Survey123 web app and is non-related with Experience Builder.

As "400: Unable to complete operation" is a typical error message that could also easily searched by other users, it would be great if you can help create a new post in the Survey123 community with sharing the following information:

  • A minimum XLSForm that can reproduce the issue
  • Is the feature service in the Enterprise a hosted feature service or a stand-alone feature service?
  • The Enterprise version you observed the issue
