Execute javascript within Button Widget

I'm working in Experience Builder. I have a bunch of widgets installed. Two questions:

- Is there a way to define some javascript code that will execute when a button (button widget) is clicked? I see that the button can go to a URL, but don't see how to execute some code.

- In connection with this, can the button reach out to other widgets and get data from that widget to use in the aforementioned javascript code?

No, ESRI does not permit you to write your own code in the builder mode of Experience Builder. There are some very valid security concerns around this. If you want to add some of your own Javascript you will need to download Developer Edition.
