Edit widget - do not want to edit geometry

Hi ExBers,

We are using the Edit widget and have geometry turned off because we don't want the users to be able to edit geometries. We only want them to be able to edit attributes.

When we use the select tool in the Edit widget, the geometries are able to be editted.

Is this a bug or is there something else we need to do? Has anyone else experienced this issue?
