Edit widget: can I prevent users from de-selecting the feature?

Is it possible to hide or prevent users from "deselecting" a feature in the Edit widget? I have an app where I select a feature from a List widget on one page and then going to a "deatails" page where there is an Edit widget. The Edit widget works fine but it's also possible to de-select the feature and the only way to get it back is to go back to the list and change selection.

Hi, thanks for the post! It is basically the designed mechanism of ExB as a data-centric app. Operations (selection, filter, etc.) on a data source will influence all widgets that use the data.
