Is there going to be Arcade support in Experience Builder in future?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If they are considering it they should mark this highly-voted idea as under consideration:
2022 they have not added Arcade to the roadmap and have indicated no plans to support Arcade e.g.
2024 it's still not in the roadmap but a comment from @Jianxia "support for Arcade expression at the framework level of Experience Builder is under the consideration. So you can use it for dynamic text or filtering. However, this is the capability beyond 2024 due to WAB parity. Thanks for letting us know."
So it appears you are limited to using it in the Web Map, and they may focus on it later after they've replaced Web AppBuilder completely.
Hi @Ed_ ,
Arcade-related features are supported in the June 2025 AGOL release.
You can add Arcade expressions to text, buttons, and other places. You can also set dynamic styles on list, button, and text widgets.
Besides, you can add data via an Arcade script. However, due to some limitations, now you can not use Arcade fields in widgets.

Shengdi

Hi, we plan to publish a blog with more details about the new Advanced Formatting feature. However, it won’t be available very soon. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me.
