Thanks for adding the option to use the my location tool in the near me widget, but I have some problems with the usability.
When using experience builder on my Smartphone, the my location tool is fixed to the lower right of the screen. When opening the near me widget, the widget panel slides over the my location tool, so I'm not able to click the my location button.
I have to turn the phone into landscape mode, so that the my location button slides to the upper left, where I can reach it.
When turning the phone back into portrait, the my location button moves back to the lower right, but slides on top of the near me widget. (see video below)
I see three possible solutions:
1. the position of the my location button can be set to upper right or left (like in WebApp Builder)
2. add a my location button in the near me widget pane like in WebApp Builder
3. the my location button slides above the near me widget pane, when it is started (like after turning the phone to landscape an back to portrait)
Hi @MarkusWall1,
Thanks for your feedback. We will look into this to see if it can be enhanced. I'll keep updated with you.
Thanks,
Ke
Please apply this change, it is really needed for the Near Me widget.
I have configured the Near Me tool as described in the following blog post:
https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-blog/what-is-new-in-near-me-october-2025-arc...
While the tool works as intended, it does not provide the functionality we are looking for.
Our goal is to start the experience with the Near Me tool already loaded and to offer users a button that allows them to run the tool using their current location. However, in mobile view the My Location button is hidden behind the Near Me tool and is therefore not accessible.
We also do not want to permanently track users, so the new functionality described in the blog post is not a suitable option for us.
