The Experience Builder Draw widget does not provide much value as it is. It misses the ability export, import and sharing sketches. The widget needs the ability to export a KML/JSON/SHP containing the Draw sketches and import that file on another Experience Builder App.
It would be very usefull as well if it was possible to share the Draw sketches with the app as a link, for example via an URL parameter thar reffers an ID of a file in a Cloud Storage solution that keeps the file for a limited period of time. This is very user-friendly.
Example of export, import and sharing of sketches by file and URL: https://kommunekart.com/ (Meny -> Tegn i kart and Del kart).
The expected audience does not have GIS Knowledge and does not have Named User licenses.
This idea is as well submited to ESRI as an enhancement request: ENH-000168545: Implement export, import and sharing of sketches on the Experience Builder Draw widget
Would be very useful!
Agreed. This functionality existed in web app builder and our users wish they had it in ExB.
I would also like the ability for our viewers to save the drawings on the ExB maps they have.
That would be awesome!!
We also need this functionality. Some draw/scetch/redlining function with the ability to export/import to formats like KML/JSON/SHP.
Agreed, this functionality is 100% needed!
Yes - So I can get rid of VertiGIS studio - their sketch sharing is the only reason we use it. I would rather have the functionality native to experience builder.
We just launched our first ExB app and already our users are asking for this very same functionality in the ExB Draw widget.
This function is in the WAB draw widget and we have users asking for it in the EB widget as they can no longer perform their workflows.
Product Development team, this shouldn't be a heavy lift for your team 😄
I believe in you! Please make this possible. We are crossing out of an old custom WAB SDK app to XB on AGOL, and our users are going to miss this functionality when we do.
