Filter widget currently always defaults to All - Add ability to remove All and default selection to First or last (like selectors on dashboards)
The Group filter in experience builder always defaults to All and I can't find a way to change that.
Within dashboards edit mode you can achieved this this by changing the placement of All and the default selection
(Dashboard selector config)
allowing this functionality in Experience builder would greatly improve GroupName triggered interfaces.
My idea for our workflow is to hide the Group Filter widget behind the application so the user cannot change it, or better still remove All altogether. (This is also possible on Dashboards)
It would always be defaulted to their GroupName as this would always be first as only one Group is filtered by the main URL and would be triggered by a URL parameter such as this
https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/itemid#data_s=id%3AdataSource_1-7%3A39
This would negate the need for URL parameters within the editor page as it would already be filtered for a particular Group by the main URL Parameter
This would also allow us to fully migrate from Web app Builder where we are utilizing URL parameters in the Group Filter widget and steer us away from using Experience builder embedded within experience builder with very complex URL parameters for every layer / table.
