This could apply to any widget, but particularly to the Query widget since there are so many configuration possibilities. We have different apps for departments that query features specific to them, but also many of the same features.
Instead of re-configuring that widget multiple times (probably 90% of which is the same), what if we could configure it once (using a URL, not the map as a source), export it to use as a “custom” widget, then re-add it already pre-configured. Then the user could modify from there (add/remove) instead of rebuilding 90% of it from scratch.
This would also be a benefit for when apps must be rebuilt for some reason. That app’s specific configuration for the widget would be pre-built.
