Enable HTML for Splash Widget

It would be awesome if we could use HTML code to customize the Splash widget as in Web App Builder. I fill the current way that Experience Builder does not allow me to bring the HTML code from my Web App into Experience Builder is going backwards in terms of an "upgraded" application compared to the one that it is suppose to replace. I feel that a lot of users would agree with me that having HTML capabilities would drastically enhance the experience!
