The existing Add Data widget is not very user friendly for the everyday non-GIS user where things need to be kept simple. The data that can be added can only be brought in as an entire web service and not on a per layer basis (not feasible to create individual items for every published layer). Also, unless the symbology is set at the time of publishing in ArcMap/Pro - which is not recommended for rendering efficiency purposes - the data comes in unsymbolized.
Users in my organization are accustomed to current layer symbology as it exists across multiple WebApps. It would be extremely helpful if the Add Data widget allowed a user to choose a single layer to be brought in with the existing symbology from its source WebMap.
