The new Express mode simplifies app building so you can build apps with ease. It includes all the Web AppBuilder classic templates. Other highlights include the new Accordion widget, support for Subtype group layers, the draw text tool, and custom filters. An accessibility section is added to provide updates for accessibility features. Read the blog post for more information.

ArcGIS Online Web AppBuilder supports &find=<string> at the end of a url to 'zoom to' and select (open pop-up) to a feature.

Does the November 2024 release of Experience Builder support this function ?

@RodneySanders, the Search widget URL parameters can do so. You may read either the Search widget or Use URL parameters topic for more information. You can also do it through UI by turning on Search widget URL parameter as shown below. This feature was added to Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online February 2024 release and is picked up by Enterprise 11.3. See the what's new in February release blog under URL parameters section.

Thanks for the information.  The documentation is a little confusing.

The 'What's New in ArcGIS Experience Builder February 2024' states "Two Web AppBuilder parameters are not there yet supported but will be added in future releases. One is to query a feature based on attributes and zoom to it; the other is to add a point (marker) on the map using coordinates."

I'm interested in the simple 'query, zoom to' functionality that exists in Web AppBuilder.

Users can 'Enable Search' under Web Map Settings.

@RodneySanders , you can use the #data_s parameter to select the feature and the zoom_to_selection parameter to zoom to it. These two parameters are equivalent to the "query and zoom" URL parameters in Web AppBuilder.  See Data-related URL parameters.

Hi @Jianxia about Subtype group layers, it is possible to set subtype group in ArcGIS Map Viewer (Enterprise or Online) ? Or it only on ArcGIS Pro to set the subtype group ?

@JasonBOCQUET , only ArcGIS Pro can publish Subtype group layers currently.

The accordion widget is nice, thanks team. I only wish it would have an optional toggle (show / hide menu) at the bottom of the widget to collapse the whole thing when needed. This would allow me to save screen real estate, with more focus on the map.

@DavidRasner1If the Accordion widget uses Auto Height and its position is set to the bottom as shown below, it will expand from down to up.

Hi @Jianxia, hope you are well. Thank you to you and the team for fixing the licence/privileges issue on the report widget, it's much appreciated.

We have been looking to use the report widget in combination with either the near me or query widgets but we're running into a couple of issues. Basically we would like our users to be able to run a buffer, which would select features from a dataset and then allow them to run a report of those selected features. The issue we're having is that neither the near me or query widgets select the features queried in the results as far as we can tell. The near me tool only appears to allow you to select each result one at a time and the query widget creates a separate runtime layer, which cannot be used with the report widget as it doesn't have a report template associated with it. Is there currently any way to get either tool to select all the results in the layer so they can be used in a message action?

The only alternative we have found is with the near me tool by turning on the setting "Filter layers to only show results" so that the report widget can then just be configured to run against the filtered layer. The only problem here is that before the near me tool is run the report widget shows over 500,000 records and we're concerned that a user may accidentally run the report tool on all these records and consume a lot of credits.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Anthony

Hi @Jianxia, do you have any timeline as to when it will be possible to Toggle All Layers On/Off in the Layer List widget? This feature is missing and was present i WebAppBuilder.

Thanks!
