Hello,

I have a polygon label that behaves just fine in ArcGIS Pro, specifically with regard to NOT repeating.  I only need one label.

However, once the Map is Shared as a Web Map and viewed in the Portal several of the features have duplicate labels at various zooms.  Has anyone else experienced this, and is there another setting I'm overlooking to suppress this behavior?

Thank you,

Tyler

@TylerT did you ever find a solution to this issue?

I have been getting the same labeling issue.  When I publish a map service w/ labels to ArcGIS Server, the map service will display a duplicate label for each polygon feature.  Yet, prior to publishing the map, i set the labeling to specifically remove duplicate labels, as you did.  And i don't accidently have duplicate features in the data.

In an AGOL web map, if I add the layer to the map using its ".../MapServer/0" rest url then it works perfectly - it shows one label per polygon, although it is a static label.  But when i add the layer to the map using its ".../MapServer" rest url then that is when the duplicate labels appear.
