Web Adapter Application Pool

When will ArcGIS Server 10.1 support a .NET 4 application pool for the IIS Web Adapter?  This is a requirement for many of our clients, and is also necessary so the web adapter can be run under full trust level in IIS.  Unfortunately ArcGIS server 10.1 service pack 1 does not list the the  web adapter application pool in the list of fixed issues.

Good question. I just tested it on the Beta (10.2) and still not supported. I had to set it to v2.0 to get web adaptor to work. Crazy.

There is an enhancement for this and it is logged as NIM085761. It is being review at this time. No definite answer as to when the
support will be implemented. I hope this information is helpful.

Good News! Esri released a patch to address this issue with AGS 10.2
