Ah yes! I didn't pay close enough attention to the url. I was using a / instead of a ? when adding the version. This works well. Thank you.

I added my version to the map viewer successfully, but when I use that map in Field Maps, it's switching back to the default version. Is this expected behavior? This seems to occur when I add it to WAB as well. Any plans to allow this functionality in Field Maps in the future? I tried it on the Early adopter version of Field Maps too, and I can't get it to work.

Hi All,

We have noticed the suggested approach works for classic mapviewer. However incase of new mapviewer(10.9.1) this approach doesn't work. On further debugging of requests in the browser debugger tool we notice that applyEdits call doesnt show gdbversion=versionName in the payload for new mapviewer.

So it seems add parameter values are not picked up by applyEdits 😞

Anybody facing the same issue?

Regards,

A

Did the ability to edit the named version using the parameter approach get resolved? Or did anyone find a workaround?

Did you try in AGE 11.3 ?

I tried to use gdbVersion parameter in the mapviewer, and editing a feature layer seems to take the version into account.

Now I have an issue with related records. Because standalone table do not allow you to add this parameter in the mapviewer interface. I tried to add the CustomParameter bloc into the webmap's JSON for the table but editing a related record does not pass the gdbVersion parameter in the payload...
