Story Map Journal section limit?

Hello,

In Enterprise Portal, is there a number limit to the Map Journal pages/sections? After 30 sections, I couldn't add any more sections.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Rose,

I just tested it on my Portal and was able to add more than 30 sections to my Map Journal. I know that the Side Panel layout has better performance than the Floating Panel for journals that have more than 20 sections, but I was still able to add 30 sections with the Floating Panel.

What kind of content does your story map contain? Which version of Portal are you using?

I changed the “MAX_NB_SECTIONS” from 101 to 200 in the “config.js” file in “...Portal\apps\MapJournal\app” folder. Now I can add more sections. Not sure how it counted. After I added 30 sections, I could not add more before.
