I am getting this error when attempting to assign Priveleges to a Role in ArcGIS Pro with the Data Creator/ Schema Owner, however it's working just fine in ArcMap for our enterprise database.  The SELECT ON DBA_ROLES option has been turned on for the Data Creator by the Database Admin.  Any ideas on the underlying issue?

The only solution I am seeing in ESRI article (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/geodatabases/manage-oracle/privileges-oracle.htm) and google searching is turn on SELECT on DBA_ROLES which has been done.

Thanks.

This is a known bug - BUG-000115301 - "Assigning privileges to a role in ArcGIS Pro's Catalog fails, throwing the Error:  "ORA-01926:  cannot GRANT to a role WITH GRANT Option for Oracle Enterprise Geodatabases."  It's in the Product Plan to be resolved - don't know when though.

Until the BUG is fixed, the current workaround is to grant privileges on a feature class/feature dataset to a role using ArcMap.

This is supposedly fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.0 (search for "BUG-000115301" the release notes page).
