Error Code 401 when generating Token
I am using ArcGIS Server 10.6.1.
I need to create Token using HTTP referer from an unfederated (stand-alone) ArcGIS Server. I have the url for the HTTP referer, I have the username and password (from our AD). The username is all lowercase. I enter these credentials and choose Generate Token and receive this error:
{"error":{"code":401,"message":"You are not authorized to access this information","details":"Invalid credentials"}}I have generated Tokens in the past with no errors, so this is the first time I am encountering this error.
Any ideas on what could be the cause and a solution?
Since I know I am using the correct username in the correct case and the correct password, the part of the error message most relevant would be "You are not authorized to access this information"; could this mean that the URL in the HTTP Referer cannot be accessed using the credentials provided? or would the URL in the HTTP Referer need to be added to our Whitelist? even if someone out there answers No to these two questions would be a huge help to me.
