We recently purchases ArcGIS Pro licences and would like to use geospatial data stored in the SQL Azure Cloud server (both point and polygon level) - Successfully mapped some point level data stored in the cloud but having problems with calculated fields writing back to the SQL tables. Additionally polygon table data is not working. Is this entirely possible or do we need an Enterprise edition for this functionality?

Take a look at the help docs: Microsoft Azure SQL Database requirements for ArcGIS Pro 2.1—Help | ArcGIS Desktop
- ArcGIS connections to Microsoft Azure SQL Databases and geodatabases in Azure SQL Databases must originate from machines within Microsoft Azure. For best performance, they should originate from machines within the same Azure region.
That could be causing the issue.
Just wanted to verify that Pro and SQL Server are all within Azure, correct?

Many Thanks George - Certainly looks like I need to create a virtual machine on the Azure platform.
