FALSE ALARM.... I was attempting to run an update to the Portal Machine last night to fix the 11.5 Chrome issues (not the Patch released 8/6/25), and that is what caused the problem..

Thankfully I had a Server Snapshot, and reverted it. The issue is gone. I will have to reassess why the other fix didn't work.

Just had my organizations automatic windows update and am now getting this error when attempting to access my Enterprise..

Anyone else getting this?

11.5 is just one disaster after another..

Was the automatic update on the server itself, or on your local machine? I just pushed through the Windows Update on my local machine and I'm not having any issues with accessing Enterprise.

Hey @Amarz

Along with what Ryan has mentioned, I'm curious if this Windows update pushed out on the server itself and if it's possible to rollback if so?

@Ryan @CodyPatterson

It was user error, I attempted to alter a something within the ArcGIS Portal machine and caused the crash.

I had a server snapshot and reverted it back to before the alteration, and am up and running.

Thank you for your assistance

@Amarz Are you saying the Portal for ArcGIS 11.5 Web Applications Patch crashed your portal instance? I am planning on installing that tonight, but I am not virtualized so I cannot take a snapshot before patching.

No. It was something else. I will try that tonight as well.

The Portal Machine didn't have an update. Only my local machine.

For what it's worth, I have access to a machine that has not installed the latest Windows Update and I am able to replicate your issue when I go to the URL that is in your screenshot. I'm hesitant to think it's an issue with the Windows Update. My guess is that something went wrong on your Portal machine, but I'm not sure right off on what it could be. I haven't encountered your issue before. An entire server restart is always a good basic troubleshooting step. But if that doesn't work, it might be worth reaching out to Esri support.

Thank you for the reply, i attempted to restart my services, but that didn't help.

The strange thing is that neither my Server / DataStore / Portal received any windows updates. Only my local machine.. I am currently troubleshooting with ESRI in hopes to correct this as its only my production environment that went down..
