I'm just starting to kick the tires on 10.7.1 and am keenly aware of the java licensing issues associated with https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-enterprise/announcements/how-java-licensing-changes.... In a nutshell, Oracle pulled a "Google" (remember when the Google maps API was the greatest thing ever then they started charging?), so I totally get ESRI switch to AdoptOpenJDK JRE, which keeps me from having to pay for the JRE. What concerns me is "If your organization has a policy that requires the use of the latest version of Java at all times, you will not be able to manually update files installed by ArcGIS Enterprise. ". I have not heard of an org that does NOT require mandatory updates of Java.

So for those of you that are further down the 10.7 enterprise path, how are you dealing with the Java update issue (lack of)? As per the blog, it appears that elbowing in a Java update to what's baked in the enterprise GIS install is simply not possible. Are you getting exceptions from your security team? Does the JRE that ships with GIS enterprise even show up as a java install when scanned?

The only comment I have is going through the https://trust.arcgis.com/en/ site will be a good avenue to get some feedback from the Esri side.
