Why is the two-way sharing checkbox grayed-out in my workspace in distributed collaboration?

I have a two-way distributed collaboration between two ArcGIS Enterprise portals (version 11.2). When the collaboration was initially established, the "Allow two-way sharing of feature services..." check-box was checked. Recently, we noticed that the check-box is now grayed-out. What could be the reason for this?

This is the current settings of the workspace:

I noticed that my edits are not reflecting to the feature layer shared in the other portal.  And have this error:

How do I resolve this?

Hi @Eisele,

Once that option is enabled, it cannot be disabled:

https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/manage-collaborations-as-guest.htm....

You can find more details of why the collaboration is failing with the following steps:

1.  Log into Portal Sharing REST (https://<webadaptorurl>/sharing/rest)

2.  Click Login at the top right

3.  Click Home at the top left > Portals > Self

4.  Scroll down to the bottom and click Collaborations

5.  Click on the Collaboration  > Collaboration Workspaces > Workspace Id

6.  Click Sync Status to see more details
