hi all

i have arcgis server advanced 10.2.2 and want to upgrade to 10.3 and also i want to install portal for arcgis as 10.3  i dont have the license file for portal for arcgis how can i get the same for installation while upgrading to 10.3.

Hi,

guess you are looking for the Authorization Number for Portal for ArcGIS which has to be named in the authorization dialogue. Unfortuantely, I don't know the exact terms in english, so you might have to adapt meaningfully.

You need to visit myEsri and go to Own Organization >> Licences >> Web GIS.

Now, allocate Named User(s) to your Portal. Afterwards you will receive the Authorization Number.

Click Windows-Start >> All Programs >> ArcGIS >> Portal for ArcGIS >> Software Authorization, insert your number and finish the authorization procedure.
