ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 Patch removes Instant Apps from Portal

Morning all,

has anyone else had an issue where they have installed the following patches;

• Portal for ArcGIS 11.3 Security 2025 Update 1
• Portal for ArcGIS 11.3 Enterprise Sites Gallery Patch

Then found the following instant apps missing from the installation directory:

• Charts
• Interactive Legend
• Notification

I'm not sure which patch may have caused this, but it seems to be an issue.

I am experiencing the same issue.  Did you ever get the patch to install?

Yes, after reading this Github issue, we simply rebooted the machine. The patch was then successfully installed according to the ArcGIS Patch Notification GUI.

Hey All, I just tried to run the same two patches from above:

• Portal for ArcGIS 11.3 Security 2025 Update 1
• Portal for ArcGIS 11.3 Enterprise Sites Gallery Patch

And experienced the same behavior noted. We have a Public Notification Instant App deployed and it disappears after patch is applied. What is also weird is that neither patch "finished" installing. It would hang, I'd terminate the process, reboot the machine, thennnnn it would show up under the newly installed patches section in Control Panel. That behavior is a first for me.

Looks like this issue is still relevant.
