I'm using ArcGIS Earth 1.18, and when trying to export a map view, when I add a legend, there are no legend labels. The symbols appear, but labels do not.

Is this a bug with ArcGIS Earth 1.18 or can I do something to get the labels to appear in the legend?

Hi @Katie_Godding ,

Great thanks for reporting this issue !

We also detected this issue earlier, and I'm glad to share Legend in Export window has been significantly enhanced in V2.1.   The legend in Export window mirrors to the content in legend tab (on the right side of Data tab in Table of Contents panel ).

For example,  the enhancement in V2.1 is as following screenshot, comparing with that in V1.18.

V2.1 is released recently and now it is available, please find new features and highlights here and feel free to download it to have a try .

Hello, I'm having a similar issue with ArcGIS Earth. I'll describe my scenario.

I'm part of an enterprise unit that uses ArcGIS portal. I'm logged into our servers and added a layer to my map. I configuer the labels to display the fields needed for this project and task. all labels are displayed as expected

Note: when I configuer my labels I receive the notice that portal items are cleared when closing ArcGIS Earth

at this stage I click export > create map layout... the map layout that displays has no labels, saving the export also does not display the labels

Note: when I close my export window the layer appears to be reloaded and the label settings are reset.

I currently am using a work around with taking a screen shot, exporting the map lay out and then putting the image with labels on the map lay out but this is an extra step I'd like to avoid in the future.
