select onn default new object names

I would like to be able to create a default name of my choosing for pins, lines, polygons etc. I don.t need "Untitled point" to be displayed every time i mark a place when its unnecessary for me to give the place a proper name. Often times I am happy with a blank name field so the icon can do the visual work of marking the location. When placing a lot of objects, which Arc Earth makes so easy to do, it slows things down if i have to change each objects name to reduce clutter. If the field could just be blank by default, it would save me a lot of headache.
