Must be missing something obvious, but where do I find the Thermal Imagery processing template for Drone2Map???  I've searched this board and the the internet more broadly....

Thanks

@jcaris, thanks for letting us know what drone you are using for this processing. The DJI Matrice 4T is not currently supported for thermal processing in this package in Drone2Map. Meaning the images are read as simple RGB images. That being said, the new DJI thermal SDK version has fixed this crash, our team is still testing the new SDK version to be sure. This fix should be implemented in D2M's 2026.1 release.

Hi, @jcaris  I hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out here.

There is no thermal processing template on newer versions of Drone2Map, now, thermal processing is based on the sensor being detected as thermal, and the 2D Products template will have the configuration for thermal processing. Here is some additional information on our documentation page - https://doc.arcgis.com/en/drone2map/latest/help/create-a-new-project.htm#:~:text=Input%20monochromat....

Please let me know if this answers your questions. Thanks!

Thanks @AustenThum ,

I installed the Drone2Map DJI plugin and reprocessed the thermal imagery from a Matrice 4T but still not yielding a radiometrically correct thermal ortho.  I did not see any options or choices during processing.  Again, must be missing something, although I'm doing diligence with my searches.

Is it necessary to preprocess the imagery using the DJI Thermal Analysis Tools (or similar)?

Thanks again, Jon
