Looking to use the 3d imagery to calculate volume that is a pile. Such as a gravel piles, chip piles, or even log yard inventories.
how can you calculate cut/fill with imagery?
I would think you would need Lidar or some sort of B.E., not imagery ? (and also need a Before and after).
Please see the links. There are others out there as well.

I use dronedeploy for planning my missions, but obviously process in D2M. I would love it to have the ability to calculate volumes simply within D2M.
I have used the volume calculation to check the volume of a dirt pile. It works very fast and easy.
I am looking for a similar tool with ArcGIs Pro 2.X. does anyone know what the tool would be?
In ArcGIS Pro you can use Cut Fill—Help | ArcGIS Desktop .
In Drone2Map use Calculate Volume, see Measure—Drone2Map for ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS . See note:
Drone2Map uses your ArcGIS Desktop framework to perform the volumetric calculation. To run the Calculate Volume tool, you must have ArcGIS Pro with 3D Analyst 1.3 or later
That is a little too complicated. Any work on ArcGIS Pro 2.1 on Volume Calculation for a basic tool like the one in D2M?
