I am trying to use the Point to Raster tool or any other LAS tool and the tool will not let me input my LAS dataset. It keeps saying it is an invalid dataset. Is this an issue or am I missing a step in my data processing?

what kind of las data do you have and what license level of arcmap and what extensions do you have?

It was an LASD data set produced by the beta version of Drone2Map. I have a 3D Analyst Extension and should be able to use the tools without an issue.

I am guessing that you can load the LAS Dataset into ArcMap or Pro? If so, could you potentially filter it to filter out the potentially bad data in order to perform your analysis on it?

Typically the LAS datasets will classify all of the points and there may be points you can throw out (like class 7 or class 12, etc).

Drone2Map outputs a point cloud in the format you choose. The default is a .las file. In order to load the point cloud into ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro, you need to create a LAS Dataset. An easy way to do this is using the Create LAS Dataset GP Tool. To create other surfaces from your LAS Datasets, use the the LAS Dataset to Raster GP tool. Check out this lesson on on Learn.arcgis.com for a typical workflow for making surfaces from LAS Datasets:
