I flew an area with a DJI Matrice 4e, and I am not trying to use Drone2Map to create a True Ortho of the area. My project has 2528 photos that I am trying to stitch together. It runs through the process and says it is 100% done, but never creates the true ortho. When I am looking at the log I do see some things that says its fails, but I am not sure how to fix them.
I have successfully run a project with around 1900 photo on my machine before, and I do meet the recommend specs for the machine. I have tried doing multiple settings, and removed any uncalibrated images.
Any help would be great!
I have attached the log
Hi @JaronJensen7,
The error popping up in the log is relating back to your camera settings, "Camera x has ambiguous parameters across rasters."
Are multiple camera models being detected within the Edit Camera pane? (Flight Data tab> Edit Camera)
Also, do you remember if you changed any settings between flights?
If you could share a screenshot/s of the edit camera pane, depending on if multiple models are appearing.
Sharing the processing report may also be useful. Let me know if you want me to setup a folder for anything you want to share.
Regards,
Mark
Hey @MarkBarker1 ,
I can only see one camera in my project. I didn't change anything between flights, but I did accidently bump the gimble control and it changed the angel of the camera for a few photos. I attached a few screenshots, and also attached the processing report.
Hi @JaronJensen7 ,
Thank you for sharing that info and the report. It is a bit strange because the report doesn't indicate any clear issues with the processing or the project in general and indicates the true ortho was generated.
Are any result folders being created in the project folder? Also are you using any network paths for the output?
I am assuming a small subset of the data processes with no issues as well?
Regards,
Mark
Hi @MarkBarker1 ,
So I do get result folders but they are usually empty. One thing it does produce is a csv file with the image metadata. After looking at that it did appear that I had images with different focal lengths. I removed the images with different focal lengths and it is producing the true ortho.
So my best guess is that I bumped the zoom trigger and it changed a setting that caused it to fail. I will have to fun it on a smaller area and then stitch them together.
Thanks,
Jaron
Hi @MarkBarker1! I'm having the same issue as listed here, but digging into the ProjectLog I see it fails when attempting to write to the project folder, which of course doesn't make sense since the folder is editable. Could it be an issue with the number of characters in the path? I made it as short as possible. See the attached ProjectLog and the error about writing to files in "C:\DroneProducts\Testflight2\Project\Process\SurfaceRecon\Images\tmp_0"
Thanks!
Julia
