Selections and Active Grid

If I have my Active Grid Selected, and then have a layer that is tied to a check, say parcels.  If I run the check, and use Selection, I am reviewing the Active Grid, but my Check is tied into parcels.  Is this expected?  So basically Selections trump Checks that are defined.  I would expect the Selection Radio not to be active, or for it to dynamically let me know that my Check is not selected.

All Reviewer knows is that something is selected, but not what that something is.  So this is the current expected behaviour.
