Hi guys,

Im very new to the data interoperability extension and FME (very green here :') ). Im trying to import an XML file within ArcGIS Pro with Quick Import but it seems all of the options are failling me.

What can I do to get a point feature from the file that looks like this? I cannot attched it, since it is to big so I attached a piece of the XML as a screenshot to this post. The highlighted area contains the X, Y coordinates in the RD New projected system. This is the system we use here in The Netherlands.

Can someone help me with this?

Thank you for your trouble in advanced!

With kind regards.

Sietse

Any specific error message?

Does error occur with a particular XML file, or all XML files?

How big is your zipped XML file?

Hi Sietse

Try making an ETL tool using the basic XML reader.  When you add the reader you can set the reader parameters after picking the input file.  Go to the setting for 'Elements to match", this will let you select the quaylocationdata element as an attribute.  Then the rd-x and rd-y values will be available to use in a VertexCreator to make geometry.  Ask Esri NL for assistance, they have some specialists.
