Serial Chart Not Showing all Months

I have made a dashboard showing the number of inspections done every month. However, I want it to reflect the last year to date but right now it stops at September instead of November. I am not sure if it's because there were no inspections performed in either October or November, but I would like the chart to still display that. Is that just the way dashboard works or is there a work around for this?
