Selectable services in Operations Dashboard

I can only set a feature service as selectable.  I cannot set a map service as selectable. Any reason for this.  Am I missing something?

Hi Mark -- If you added the entire map service to the map, that is the expected behavior. If you want layers in a map service to be selectable, you can add them to the map directly, instead of adding them as part of a map service.
