We have several dashboards that depend on the "Allow Attribute Updates" feature for our daily operations. Staff use it to claim work by entering their name to the task and then updating the record once it's completed.
Since the most recent update, some functionality involving calculated expressions appears to have stopped working in our dashboards. The Smart Form and expressions continue to work correctly when accessed from the web map, but not when accessed through a dashboard.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, have you found a solution or workaround?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Great news! Yes there was a patch that went out yesterday evening to address that issue. Thank you for confirming that this is working again for you.
Hi Ken. We are also experiencing this. Yet another dashboard bug to add to the ever-growing list since the update.
Hi @KenBouchard I found the same thing yesterday. We have a dashboard with table editing set up for a client to validate points that are submitted a public survey123 form. It worked great pre update and is designed to pull GUID's from matching features using FeatureSetByName $map. It is working perfectly in map viewer but if I go to edit the same feature in dashboard it does not work at all and I get failed to calculate value.
My solution at the moment is rebuild the app in experience builder, but I think a simple dashboard works best for this sort of thing and the formatting in the table matches the symbology and filters make it easier for the user than what we'd get out of experience builder, so it would be shame to have to rebuild it. I'll do some more testing and let me you know what I find.
Hi @KenBouchard and anyone listening at ESRI. I've just tried a basic concatenation of two fields as a calculated expression and that is working fine, so my hunch is that accessing calculations via $map FeatureSetByName is what is borked currently in dashboard table edits

This is captured in BUG-000185964.
Thank you @SandraLuken1 Can you please provide me with a link to BUG-000185964. . I can't seem to find it.
Hi @SandraLuken1 Can you please let me know when a fix will be rolled out for this please. One option is to convert the app to experience builder, but I would much prefer to keep it as a dashboards. I also don't want to spend time on it if a fix is forthcoming
Same here, we need to know if there will be a fix or a workaround for this.
Getting this error with: FeatureSetByName($map
