June 2026 Update Causing Map Extent Conflicts with Embedded Dashboard URL Parameters

The June 2026 update in the last few days appears to have created an issue where the aerial extent saved automatically with a web map is conflicting with the aerial extent defined in the URL parameters for Dashboards embedded in a web page. An example Dashboard can be found at https://noaa.maps.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/f5eaf19924af427aac8d173d6328758e#extent=-92.83,43.00,-9.... Refreshing the dashboard several times (or trying in different browsers/private windows) results in the default map extent varying between the one saved with the web map and the dynamic URL parameter, seemingly at random. This dashboard worked great up until this update. Does anyone have any tips for getting around this issue?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I strongly recommend that you contact Esri Technical Support and open a case.

You can do that through your My Esri or the Esri Support App
