June 2026 Update Breaks HTML Table Headers

I previously used HTML in the labels of my table headers and it worked seamlessly. With the latest update the HTML is now displaying in the table header.

This is an example of a header label: <span style="display: block; text-align: right">Spring Student<br>Enrollment</span>

Anyone got any suggestions on what i should tell the clients?  I'm running out of excuses for the lack of action on this.  Every dashboard looks terrible.

If this is a difficult patch can someone let me know so i can start reformatting 100+ dashboards?

A comment from a client in a meeting today while we were making plans to salvage her dashboards after the June 2026 update.

"Esri have ruined something beautiful"

That cuts deep.

Went to update a Dashboard today and saw this problem. Please ESRI fix ASAP.

@SandraLuken1 Any update on this? It has been more than 3 weeks since the June 2026 update. Will an upcoming patch fix this issue? Any communication / advice from ESRI would be greatly appreciated.

Since there has been zero response from ESRI: I've manually removed html from table headers for all dashboards for a particular client. Not ideal, but the best we can do given the circumstances. I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of communication from ESRI regarding this issue and it has been frustrating waiting for a patch that may not arrive.
