How to keep others from downloading data shared with public?

I have a public dashboard which I would like to keep external users from downloading the raw data (I want them to view the dashboard only). There must be a setting for this.

Hi David Hughell‌, 

In the item description go to the Settings Tab, there should be an option allowing or not allowing data to be exported. In addition to this in the configuration setting when you export  from pro you are also given the option to allow others to export the file or not from your online environment. I hope this has helped answer your question.
