Hello everyone,
I'm working on an ArcGIS Dashboard that includes an embedded content app, and I'm trying to use a URL parameter to filter the data displayed in the app. Specifically, I want to use the "&find={FIELD_NAME}" parameter to filter by a certain field in my feature layer.
However, I've run into an issue where the field I want to filter by isn't at index position 0 in the layer, which is required for the "&find" parameter to work properly. So my question is: how can I change the index position of this field so that it can be used with the "&find" parameter?
I've looked into using the "Alter Field" tool in ArcGIS Pro, but I'm not sure if that's the right approach. I've also come across a post on GISGeography.com (https://gisgeography.com/how-to-permanently-reorder-fields-in-arcgis/#:~:text=Reorder%20Fields%20Too... that explains how to permanently reorder fields in ArcGIS, and I'm wondering if this may work for my situation.
Additionally, I'm wondering if this issue will be fixed by Esri in the future, so that the "&find" parameter can work with fields at any index position.
Any guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help.
